Stephen Sistilli has been a graphic artist and illustrator for over 40 years. Using a variety of tools and techniques, he has created comics, storyboards, movie poster illustration, retail artwork, apparel art, event renderings and logo designs for clients in the United States and Europe.This included work for And 1, Comcast, Google, ESPN, Disney, Retromedia, Unilever and Merck pharmaceuticals. From 2006 to 2012 he did both interior art ( penciling & inking ) and cover art paintings for the Arcana published books “Koni Waves”, “Velvet Rope”, “Daddy’s Little Girl”, and “Avengelyne”.
Starting in 2020, he was brought aboard the revival of the Blood Island creature features, spearheaded by producers/writers David Sehring, Brian Yuzna and Mark Cerulli. This effort resulted in the creation of the graphic novels “Tales of Blood Island” and “Beast of Blood Island” as well as other products including games, barware and apparel. He has enjoyed designing and creating a lot of the artwork for these cool items. Recent work has involved doing both interior art and cover illustrations for the upcoming books in the series, “Tales of Blood island” #3 and #4 and ‘Beast of Blood Island” #2. Also forthcoming is the second volume of “The Art of Beast of Blood island” as well as a new set of corresponding trading cards.
