Ken Hunt is a self-taught, professional comic artist/illustrator, logo designer and editor, hailing from Baltimore, MD, He was a typical cartoon and anime fan in the mid 1970's. He started out doodling cars mostly, and more specifically, the Mach 5 from the Speed Racer anime series. But it was the art of Neal Adams and Gil Kane that garnered his attention to start collecting X-Men comics and made him want to start doodling more than cars. Neal, Gil, and later Dave Cockrum, John Byrne, and George Perez were large influences for him to draw superheroes on scrap paper, but it was his discovery of the Marvel Graphic Novel of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, with the iconic artwork by master illustrator Bernie Wrightson that captivated him and inspired him to want to draw professionally.
Ken has gone on to work for numerous mainstream and Indie publishers, including DC comics (Talon, Batman, Harley Quinn), Coffin Comics (Lady Death, Hellwitch), Worthy Chaos (Redemption), Monte Michael Moore's "Midnight Cafe", Sinopa Publishing (Rayne of Ages), Nick Caponi's "Purity", About Time Comics (Godsend, Dreamer), Mike Seigle's "Disciples A.D., Big City Comics (Jolly Jane, Schizo), Chistopher Denmead's "Vlada: A Dracula Tale" novella and comic spin-off, Advent Comics (Titan: The Ultra Man), Paranoia Comics (Necroman), UWS Comics (Blackjack pin-up Special), William Russell's "Psycho Sal", and many more.
