David “Artassassin” Harrigan has been a freelance illustrator for the past 26 years working on a very wide range of projects - from book covers and comic book work to t-shirt and Frisbee design.
For the past 14 years, he has been working under the brilliant main fiend, Brian Pulido, at Coffin Comics where he has drawn well over 300 covers for their titles, Hellwitch, La Muerta, Chaotica, Mike Morgue and, of course, Lady Death.
In addition to his vast cover work with Coffin Comics, he has also provided cover artwork for such titles as Zombie Tramp, Sad Girl Psycho Baby, Sugar Pop, Vampirella, Cavewoman, Shi, Penny for your Soul, Dark Red, Vampblade, Amalgama, Patriotika, Harpies, Firebitch, The Changeling, Hardlee Thinn, Nebula Pearl, Lili the Demoness, Bunny goes to Space, Vampires of New Jersey, and Naughty Fairy Stripper Assassins.
Apart from his comic book work, David also lends his creative skills to designing concert posters for his local School of Rock and, last year, signed a deal to design t-shirts for a goth clothing store.
A few years ago, he launched his own creator-owned title, Breastiary, and has been working whenever he has time to complete the next issue.
In his spare time, he is an amateur musician, cat lover, family guy and friend to all.
