Andrew Anderson is a still active professional wrestler of 30 years and still going strong.
Andrew Anderson better known as the Reinforcer or in recent years The Purple Haze has starred in the Oscar nominated picture "The Wrestler" alongside Mickey Rourke. Anderson has also co-starred in The Horror Anthology "Creepy Tales", by Michael P. Russin.
Other film credits are as follows he portrayed the arms dealer on Amazon Prime's hit series Sneaky Pete, was also cast as one of the demon bikers on Fox tv series, "Gotham", in which he had one of the most iconic murder sequences in recent tv history killing his victim with the back tire of a motorcycle as it peels out.
Also starred in tv commercials for Skittles, "Don't Supplex the rainbow" and Doritos, 2010 Superbowl commercial - Powerbomb.
Anderson is a multi-time tag team champion and has help over 35 championships worldwide, and nationally. Most notably, the iconic CWF Championship Wrestling from Florida Heavyweight Title and the iconic Midsouth GSW Louisiana Heavyweight Championship.
Trained in 1993 by Jimmy Super Fly Snuka, Gino Caruso, and Jerry Fasio. Discovered by the Metal Maniac, Jeff Miller. He had memorable feuds with the likes of The Barbarian, Tito Santana, Greg Valentine, Tony Atlas, Rick Martel, Crowbar, Test, Action Jackson, Demolition, The Road Warriors, Gino Caruso, Mario Bokara, and Scott Steiner.
Most notably managed by the late Rowdy Roddy Piper, Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart, Captain Lou Albano, and in recent years his Valet/Manager "The Lovely Miss Karen".
He is also no stranger to tag team wrestling, having successfully tagged and won Championships with legends such as: Nikolai Volkoff, Rick Fuller, Mustang Mike Beadle, Jason Knight, and Big Van Vader.
In recent years he has been under the watchfull eye of "The Task Master" Kevin Sullivan who bestowed upon him the robe and monicur of the original Purple Haze, Mark Lewin.
His newest project is being cast for Disney's new upcoming series, Daredevil. what the wrestling and acting world hold next for Anderson will remain to be seen .
