WIACEK
Bob Wiacek inked Mike Grell on The Legion of Super Heroes #220 and Al Milgrom on Marvel Presents #7- "The Guardians of the Galaxy" for Marvel.
From that time on he inked every major title for Marvel which includes The X-Men, Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, She Hulk, Man-Thing, Star Wars, Silver Surfer, and Fantastic Four just to name a few.
At DC, Bob worked on Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Brave and the Bold, The Ray, Batman Family, Justice Society, Shazam and Challengers of the Unknown which is a small sampling as well.
As far as independent publishers he did work for Dark Horse, Image, Relium Media, Archie and Valiant where Bob worked on Archer and Armstrong, Bloodshot and Solar.
The books Bob is most noted for are as follows:
Uncanny X-Men #'s 154-164 inking Dave Cockrum and #'s 165-175 inking Paul Smith (Issues #172 and #173 were what "The Wolverine 2" movie was partially based on- Japanese adventure). Also issue #171 where Rogue joins the X-Men, inking Walter Simonson. Also inked issues 176, 178, 180, 214 inking Barry Windsor-Smith and 287.
X-Factor #'s 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17-22, 24-31, 33-37 inking Walter Simonson with Marc Silvestri & Sal Buscema. Issues 19 through 26 are partially based on the movie "X-men-Apocalypse."
Star Wars #16 inking Walter Simonson, and #'s 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 29, 31, and 96. Inked a number of covers as well.
Iron Man #'s 108, 129, 136, 258-270 and 181. This run includes the Armor Wars 2 story line which the movie "Iron Man 2" was partially based on.
Batman #'s 286, 287, 288, 495 (Knight Fall issue) and 505 (Knight Quest)
The Iron-Man 2020 project where he co-plotted with Walter Simonson, penciled and inked the book with an able assist from Will Rosado.
As of late he has helped out in inking All New Wolverine #10 over Ig Guara and a JLA General Mills comic inking Rick Leonardi which was available in different cereal boxes.
Bob has also inked Badger #1 over Val Mayerik for First Comics and now inking Stars End #2 from Insane comics penciled by Larry Spike Jarrell.
Bob starred in a commercial with Rap group G-Unit in 2003. Plus he did the poster for "Manos-The Rise of Torgo" which is an independant film and on the DVD Bob appeared in the trailer for "Manos-The Revenge of Torgo."
Most recently Bob penciled and inked the cover to "ZaZa the Mystic".
He also created the characters along with writer David Noe, and did the cover art for a comic called "Rip Tide" and appeared in the Daydream Theatre and Theaterlab NYC Production of "DITKO" as Martin Goodman.
