Having self-published two activity books, five all-color “Jr.” titles (for pre-readers and kids up until about 6 years of age), their original six stand-alone adventures for kids 7 and up (featuring the hero Nightbat and one bumbling baddie each), a 100+ page compilation of these six and a Christmas special, illustrator/Echo City creator Joe Swartz & writer Ralph Greco, Jr. bring their slapstick-y stories, weird and silly characters and their city that never sleeps—but takes a nap every once in a while—to readers everywhere.
Joe attended the prestigious Joe Kubert School in Dover, NJ, for illustration and cartooning and has worked for Manhattan-based animation studios, various commercial clients, and on private commissions. He lives in P.A.
Ralph Greco, Jr. is a professional writer and musician, having had his fiction, essays, poetry, and one-acts plays published and produced in eight countries. He lives in northern NJ.
Joe and Ralph met in high-school, lost touch for twenty-five years but in reconnecting five years ago, managed to produce their fifteen books, present their draw-along/sing-along live events at various elementary schools, seasonally at the Crayola Experience in Easton PA. and at various fares, comic cons, and bookstores.
